Quality. Trust. Integrity. In 1976, these principles anchored George (Bud) Herrington as he founded Herrington Excavating. Bud started as a one-man show with two pieces of equipment. His son Lonnie joined the business in 1986, and after graduating college, became a partner with his father.
 

The business, and the team, continued to grow. In 2013, Lonnie and his wife Kim bought Herrington Excavating Inc.  The family's focus on relationships and experienced, quality work has resulted in Residential and Commercial teams that partner with general contractors and builders to serve our communities.

In 2022, the company expanded to include a Directional Drilling Team. This new team utilizes the latest technologies to allow for minimal lawn disruption and quick, efficient services. With the opportunity to add a master plumber to our company in 2023, yet another expansion resulted in the addition of a Plumbing Team.

2024 welcomed more exciting growth, as Lonnie and Kim welcomed Aron and Jaime Counterman as their new owner-partners. Aron joined Herrington's team in 2018, and worked cross-functionally until becoming Director of Directional Drilling.
