ABOUT

In 1976, George (Bud) Herrington founded a small, one-man excavation company, Herrington Excavating in Rockford, Michigan. The company expanded over the years, with Bud’s son Lonnie joining in 1986 to help fund his college education. After graduating, Lonnie became a partner and together with his wife Kim, bought the company in 2012. The Herrington family’s focus on quality work and knowledgeable experience led to steady growth, and in 2022, Herrington’s expanded to include a Directional Drilling Team. In 2023, Herrington’s added a Plumbing Team to broaden our service offerings.

Today, as Lonnie & Kim welcome owner-partners Aron & Jaime Counterman, the Herrington’s team proudly serves West Michigan residential and commercial sectors with expert excavation, directional drilling, and plumbing services.
